Accommodation Reservation Service #1
This service covers more than 75,000 properties around the world including many small Motels and B&B properties that cannot be found in any other reservation service. Reservations can be made up to 364 days in advance of your arrival date.
This service uses two systems to process customer's hotel reservation requests. A property that says
'Check Availability' allows you to check availability for the dates you require, book the reservation,
and get a confirmation number returned immediately. A property that says 'Request Reservation' is set up
as an email reservation system. You fill out the request form and they check availability, book the
reservation, and email the confirmation number to you usually within 24 hours. This system requires you
to provide your credit card information, however your credit card is never charged by the reservation
service! It is used only to guarantee your reservation, and is not charged at the time of the reservation
request unless the property requires a deposit (in which case, the reservation service will secure your
approval before the deposit is charged by the hotel). You always have the option to cancel their quote
without penalty within 24 hours of confirmation being sent to you.
Cancel a reservation with Reservation Service #1 -
Reservations made through the 'Check Availability' function must be made online. In the case of email
reservations, when canceling a reservation that is within 48 hours of arrival, you must call the property
directly at the phone number reflected on the reservations detail page. Be sure to check the advance
cancellation notice requirement before calling.
